On a lighter note...

Have you ever felt that you were the only one (woman) in the world that was trying to achieve the biblical lifestyle of a woman?
I know that I have!

I was not raised in a home where the biblical role of the wife and mother was an ever-present model for me. Not that my mom wasn't doing anything, like most, there were some areas that were lacking. I will say this, being married to a man who understands what the role of the wife is helps tremendously! I mean, there were times where his constant reassurance that I was going in the right direction is what helped me to dust myself off and keep moving forward. I realize too that by living this way (God's standard for a woman) I'm not only being an example to those around me, but, I am an ever-present example to my children, especially my daughters, how a wife and mother is to conduct herself. My son too is getting a glimpse of what/how a woman is supposed to be so that if/when he gets in to a position to become married he will have very high standards already set.

Sometimes I feel a bit like a broken record, but when you come to the understanding and realization of who God wants, nay, expects you to be. THAT is when you experience true joy and happiness in what, at times, seems like a lonely world. As I've dug deeper, I've found that I'm not alone in my quest for biblical nobility, there are more of us out there, but like it says in proverbs, we are rare...

WOW I feel like this too! I know there are women striving for the biblical standard, we must keep going, teaching, sharing with our children and others. God has his children and we are His daughters, He will direct our paths!
