Biblical Womanhood Subculture???

As my husband and I were talking last night, I was telling him all of the different blogs I was finding regarding these women who are seeking after true biblical womanhood.
I told him that they weren't all discussing the same things. There are those that talk about food/cooking/saving money etc. They're focus is making sure that since we are the Keepers of the Home that we should be feeding/providing the absolute best. So they educate on the best most cost-effective ways to do so.

Then, there are the ones that are avid homeschoolers! I mean, they have this thing down to a science. Most have 5 or more children and they are bumping right along! There are several others but I think you get the idea. :)

He then asked, "Well, where do you think you fit with all the different categories?" I was somewhat puzzled because I wasn't quite sure! Continuing to ponder, he interrupted my thoughts with this statement, "You know, it's like there is this entire sub-culture of women, men and families that are in all their honesty and sincerity attempting to get back to the biblical ways of approaching life." When he said that, I thought to myself, "He is absolutely right!" (gotta love the ''wisdoms'' that come from the husband!) There is this community that kinda is somewhat hidden from sight. I mean, I did some serious digging to find what I have found. Even the church that we have recently started attending is everything that we thought didn't exist! They are people that have a desire and passion to raise their children, have marriages and lead lives that are accordance with everything that the Word teaches. I have been honestly, humbled by it all! I am so very grateful to have found what I thought wasn't there. A community of women who want to follow through with God's standards for living NOT the world's!

I am so encouraged to keep pressing on and making sure that I am doing ALL I can to be the woman that God has called me to be! It is a true and high calling of nobility!

Now my question is this...
Where do you feel that I fall in this subculture of women bloggers???

Share your thoughts!!! PLEASE :)

It is encouraging, isn't it?? I'm sure you already know this, but God has always had a "remnant". In the OT there were groups that disobeyed, but there were always those people that wanted to live for God and do right. Aren't you glad we're part of that remnant?? I LOVE it! This was a very encouraging post!

Jerica, you asked a question about where you think you fall or fit in the grand scheme of things in all the various ways that Christian women can put their efforts into achieving excellence as a Daughter of God, a Wife, a Mother, a Teacher, essentially a Proverbs 31 Woman. Being your Mother and having raised you with all the different challenges that came our way. It also brought great joy and an expectation of what would come next. You have such a broad variety of interests and zeal for learning and doing new things. It may take a bit of "tweeking", if you will, but I believe you will have whatever you need for whatever each and every job or category calls for, to be a well-rounded balanced Christian Wife, Mother, Teacher and Caretaker of all God has put in your charge. I know your desire to be a person of excellence, and believe God is well pleased with you. He gives you the desires of your heart when they are first His desires for you.
We, as Mothers, have a love like no other for our children. Just imagine, God loves us, His children even more than we can ever love. I am so proud of you, my daughter. I am seeing ALL the things I prayed over your life, day by day come to fruition. And thank you Jesus for hearing and honoring those prayers. And believe it or not, there's more to come. :)
